Adding Pages

To add a new page to RapidWeb, all you have to do is come up with a meaningful title, capitalize all the words and string them together JustLikeThis. These strung together words are referred to as bumpy text or as a RapidWord. RapidWeb automagically recognizes it as a hyperlink. When a RapidWord is first created on a page it is followed by a question mark to indicate that you have not yet entered text into that page.

Alternatively, you can put anything between square brackets when in the edit box to create a hyperlink to a new page in your web site . Any text within the brackets ( [] ) , will then create a new page, a HyperLink to that page and be followed by a ? to indicate that no content has yet been added.

Once you created a RapidWord on your page and saved that page, you can go ahead and ClickTheQuestionMark? at the end of your new hyperlink, and the RapidWeb will present you with an edit box window for entering the content of the new page. Once the text has been entered for that RapidWord page it will take on the atribute of a hyperlinked reference.

Thus by simply entering a RapidWord in the edit box, RapidWeb will create a HyperLink to that page, add the page to the database AND provide you with an indicator that the page does not yet have content. As soon as the content is added, the question mark will disappear and the page will appear as any other hyperlink.
