ContentCreation ( ) n
- 1.The task that on a traditional web site requires the user to enter text into a page creation program, add the graphics, links and formatting commands, upload the page and related files to your site with an FTP program, and then link into the balance of your site by entering HTML strings on to all pages that need to reference the new page. (if you think the definition was complicated you should try doing it on a 50 pages or so...it is not just complicated it's time consuming as well :))
- 2.Or worse, ask your programmer to do the above
- 3.Add text with a simple as cut, copy and paste into the edit window. Add new pages by simply adding a NewPageWord?.
Adding content and new pages to your web site is a simple matter in the RapidWeb world. Each page can be easily edited by selecting the edit function and start typing.
Many web sites do not reach their full potential as difficulty of adding new content is often more than most organizations can handle. It strains resources by adding a complicated task to already busy staff or stressing an already tapped MIS budget,
By allowing the content to be created and added by the people in your organization that have something to say, the content gets created and updated more frequently. Your web site thus becomes a living and active marketing too rather than an exercise in technical complexity.
