The benefits of using a database are many. It allows on-the-fly creation of a web page by merging a given record (the web page content) from the database with a single template.
Because the pages are all stored in a database the site is easily searchable by word, phrase or even individual letters. This makes the site more accessible and easier for the visitor to locate the specific piece of information that he/she is looking for.
The HTML code that drives the look and feel is stored in a single template (see TemplateBased), thus the site can be given a complete overhaul by changing a single page of HTML and the database will still deliver the existing content into the new template.
Adding a new web page to your site is as simple as adding a new record to your database. With RapidWeb you can have an unlimited number of pages on your site and they stayed organized and searchable at all times.
Since these many pages are stored in a database, management of the site is much simpler (see ContentManagement). There is but a single file on your server and reports on recent changes and the most popular pages are readily available
