July's tip
There are three simple tips for any one doing a web site with a large number of pages:
Backup,
Backup,
Backup.
Like any computer based activity data loss is a real possibility with your web site. The data for your web site is stored on a server somewhere on the internet and what is out site is often out of mind. Regardless, you need to make regular backups of your web data as you would any data.
Fortunately, with RapidWeb we make backup easy. Every RapidWeb site has an easy to use backup routine built in that can back up the RapidWeb database to your local drive or to a subdirectory on your web server. Just like in any data processing environment you should make backups after any session in which you have added a significant number of pages. After all, a backup might take 3 minutes and could save you endless hours of work.
