You can make yet larger headings by putting two or three exclamations prior to your typed heading.

Bold type

If you put two underscores before and after your text in the edit box it will make it bold.

Italics

Note:don't get too hung up on these commands you will learn them as you need them....but typing the single quote character twice before and after a sentence creates italics.

Creating reference links

Step three is to create a reference link. A reference link is a link to another page somewhere on the internet. Within the edit box you can create a link to a new site or a link to new page on this site. The simplest type of reference links is to a page on another site.

The easiest way to do this is simply to type the full url including http, the colon and slashes. For example you can open the site in another window and paste the URL (all the http stuff at the top) into the edit box. Anything that you type after the url will appear as a description of it. If you then save the url will become a link to a new site.

I would suggest that you try these now. (no don't read more yet, try it...).

There are some more commands at the botton of the page that the edit box is on. They are somewhat cryptic and are slightly at odds with the commands that are explained here. The reason for that is that they reflect the command structure of ver 1 of this software. Theywill work equally but are genreally a little more confusing than the current command set.
