Jodi Blumenthal

Jodi Blumenthal was born in Mobile ( pronounced moebeeeeel), Alabama. Her dad, a Computer Engineer for Cubic Defense Corporation, was always bringing home the latest in home computing gear for Jodi "to play with." In sixth grade she was writing simple Basic Programs on a Radio Shack programmable, by high school Jodi had outgrown a succession of computers including the Commodore Vic-20, TRS-80, C-64, Apple II and IBM-PC. In 2004 Jodi shocked everyone by switching to a Macintosh.
Jodi Blumenthal has been a professional computer technician since 1985. Moving to the WNY area in the early 90's she quickly found work as a Network Support Engineer and Programmer for local firms. Over the years she has mastered such network operating systems as Artisoft's Lantastic, Novell Netware, Microsoft Windows NT. She currently holds certifications as an MCSE+Internet (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), ASE (Compaq Advanced Server System Engineer). She joined the family business as a part of Blumenthal's technical support team in the early 1990's, providing software and hardware installation and training and local area network installations.
Jodi was an Internet "Pioneer", creating her first website in 1993. After mastering all of the website design tools (that's a LOT of software!), she moved on to learning about the "back-end" programs that really run the internet. She has built numerous websites that feature extensive programming in HTML, CGI/Pearl, Java, PHP, SQL, SSI, etc. These programming languages allow a web designer to build an extraordinary level of interactivity into a website. Jodi also has a keen eye for graphic layout and design, so the sites she creates are not only highly functional, they look good. Jodi is the driving force in Blumenthal's Internet Services Division.
